I bathed mommy today!!!!

Today mommy wanted me to help her bathe. So I did. She was kind of fidgety, so we both got a little wet in the process. I tasted the soap to make sure it was really “oatmeal” like the bottle said. It tasted nothing like oatmeal but it was ok, I guess. I hope it makes her skin and hair nice and shiny!!! Better than HDTV

Mommy and daddy have theirs and I have mine. I prefer nature’s HD, it’s even higher resolution than 1080p. Today I plan to spend the day staring out into the window, looking for brown bunnies. I swear I’ve seen 50 bunnies today!!! Bark Bark!!!

Our Favorite Treat

Maddy and Zoe love Sam’s Yams from Front Porch Pets. Not only are they healthy, they are made in the USA. They also last a little while and help clean their teeth. We buy them at Pet Food Direct. Mom and dad insist on buying us healthy treats with nothing they can’t pronounce on the box. We love it!!!!

Goodbye lady bits

Tomorrow I am having an ovohysterectomy (aka spay). This is real surgery and mommy says I can’t have water after midnight. I hope all goes well. My sister Maddy is going to miss me tomorrow, I told her I’ll be fine and I’ll see her Friday morning. She told me that she’s been through it herself, and it wasn’t that bad. Wish me luck!!!! I don’t know if I can make any promises not to jump for 10 days. I am, after all, a “Springer.”

2008 AHA Heart Walk – New Haven

Today, mommy and daddy took Maddy and I to a Heart Walk. This walk helps provide funding for critical research to treat, prevent and cure heart disease. We aren’t sure what all that means, but after a 3 mile walk (and then some) we are tired. We definitely have to do this again next year and check out the Dogfather Mobile Grooming. What a day!!!

Today mommy and daddy took us for a walk on the Guilford Green (we wanted to visit Jo Anne Basile at Paws By the Green but they were closed). As we were walking to the car, I met my sister Opal (now named Nellie!)’s new mommy. She was on her way to a Mother’s Day facial (I really should have gotten one for my mommy). I sure miss my the jewel crew (my name was Jade and my litter mates all had gem names) but its nice to know we’re close by. I hope we get to meet soon. Here’s a picture of me in the early days with my crew. Can you guess which one I am?

After a long hard week of work, training my sister, eating, playing, and sleeping, I am wiped!
