I’m uber-patient, waiting for Doc Carter!

April 25th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

I just love Dr. Carter! Today I went to get my last Lyme shot of this series. No more shots for me, just a spay in May (hoo hoo, that rhymes!). Here I am hanging out, waiting on the doc to come in at Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital in Branford. When I got there, I met two barky doxies and the owner (Robyne) knew mommy. I told her to come visit our site. I hope she does!  The scale says I’m 23.5 lbs but I think its off.  I’m at least 25.  Doc Carter said that its been reading funny all week.

Cows are nice…

April 20th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Zoe and I hanging out with a cow at the Hamden dog park. Not too sure why he was there, this place is for dogs silly! Before going to the park, we went on a walk and met Troy, the 10 month old ESS down the street. Then we went with mommy to get her purse from work (wohoo) and to Yale fields to watch daddy play (and lose) in softball. Then we went to the dog park (pictured above). After that, we went to “Two Smiling Dogs” in Hamden and had some great fresh baked treats! Yum! Now we are asleep…..ZzZzzzz!

We Go Together Like Peas and Carrots

Today we went to the park with daddy. Then he took us to Agway and APC for some people fun. Everyone always asks if we’re sisters. I don’t want to tell them that the “little one” is adopted so we just smile and change the subject. Daddy bought us these cool gingerbread man shaped “Buddy” treats made of bacon and cheese. Why else do you think we’re sitting in this picture?

I just don’t want people thinking I need “Maddy” to show me how to do tricks.  I’ve got my own smarts.

Summit Springers!!!!

April 13th, 2008 Posted in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Today mommy met two new liver and white springers, Casey and Troy on the street. A 10 year old and a 10 month old respectively. I can’t wait to meet them myself! I just absolutely love my own floppy eared friends.

Also, mommy has determined that these are the Springer owners that we met when Maddy was a puppy at the traffic light. I saw the older son from the car window and he said they had a Springer for me to play with. Wohooo. The number of Springers is rising in our neighborhood! We are so lovable, you can’t just have one!

::shout out to Casey and Troy, “hope to meet you soon!”

Here I am showing my mommy that I know the “down” command and then licking my lips ready for a treat!  My tail is wagging, that’s why its blurry in the picture!

A picture of me when I was Zoë’s age visiting my Uncle Mike and Auntie Erica while mommy and daddy went to Fenway to see the Sox. They let me eat sticks. I’ll never forget them. I really love sticks.

More pictures, after the jump.
